Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Drafty Loans

Can I apply for a loan?

You can apply for a loan if you:

  • Have a valid UK Debit card
  • Have an active UK bank account
  • Live in the UK
  • Are over the age of 18
  • In regular employment – full or part time
  • Have a net monthly income (after tax) of at least £1250

We’ll then do some checks which include looking at your current finances, eligibility and credit history before we make any lending decisions. Affordability checks are also undertaken to work out how much we can lend to you.

How much can I borrow?

With Drafty Loans, you can borrow between £1000 to £3000. If approved, we send the cash to your bank in under 90 seconds.

Will my application be approved?

We never guarantee if your application will be approved. While we do check many different factors when you apply for a Drafty loan, we don’t accept everyone.

Please think carefully about whether Drafty is the right solution for you. This is even more important if you're in financial difficulty.  If we don't think you can afford to repay your credit, we won't be able to approve you. We'll look at your current finances and credit history before we decide whether to give you credit. Failure to repay could impact your credit file.

We are a lender and may pay commissions to credit brokers or other intermediaries who introduce customers to us. The amount of commission we pay can vary depending on the broker, the product offered, and the terms agreed with the broker. This commission is not charged to you and does not affect the total cost of your loan.
